2027 is your reunion year, and UCSF has plans to celebrate this milestone during Alumni Weekend at UCSF Mission Bay campus! Whether you graduated in 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017, or 2022, this is your moment—and we want to help make your 5th through 45th gathering unforgettable. 

Join us at the kickoff call to:

  • Get an overview of reunion activities scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2027

  • Discover ways to reconnect with and involve former classmates

  • Explore volunteer opportunities and reunion communications in support of your class

Whether you’re interested in serving as an ambassador for your class or just curious to learn more, this kickoff call is a great way to be part of something special because your presence matters.

  • UCSF Alumni Weekend is an annual celebration that brings together alumni from all schools and programs to reconnect, network, and engage with the UCSF community through a variety of activities, educational talks, and receptions.

    The full schedule will be released in early 2027.

  • Friday, April 16 – Saturday, April 17

  • Most events will be held in the William J. Rutter Center at UCSF Mission Bay campus (1675 Owens St, San Francisco, CA 94158).

    On Saturday, April 17, the Milestones Reunion Gathering for classes of 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017, and 2022 will be held in the evening at STEM Kitchen and Garden (499 Illinois St, San Francisco, CA 94158).

  • All UCSF alumni, current as well as retired faculty and staff, students, trainees, and their guests are welcome to attend.

  • There are several ways to celebrate your milestone (i.e., 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, or 45th) reunion year!

  • Join fellow alumni in the Half-Century Club (HCC) for a special event honoring graduates from 1977 and earlier.

    This HCC gathering brings together UCSF alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago. Guests will enjoy open seating with designated tables for each school, making it easy to reconnect with peers while enjoying a seated lunch and remarks from university leadership.

  • There is a hotel block from Thursday, April 15 – Sunday, April 18 at the Luma Hotel. The rate is $239 per night before taxes and fees. The hotel block is available through March 16, 2027 unless already full.

As a Class Outreach Ambassador (COA), you’ll serve as a friendly point of contact by sharing reunion plans and inspiring your peers to attend Alumni Weekend.

COAs can expect to:

  • Attend the reunion kickoff call in mid-October 2026.

  • Engage classmates and encourage them to attend reunion activities.

  • Help share reunion news, updates, and registration information.

  • Build excitement and strengthen connections among peers leading up to Alumni Weekend.

  • Receive a special COA appreciation gift at your reunion in recognition of your volunteer support.
