  • UCSF Alumni Weekend is an annual celebration that brings together alumni from all schools and programs to reconnect, network, and engage with the UCSF community through a variety of activities, educational talks, and receptions.

  • Thursday, April 23 – Saturday, April 25, 2026.

  • Most events are located on the UCSF Mission Bay Campus with some events in the surrounding area.

  • All UCSF alumni, faculty, staff, students, trainees, and their guests are welcome to attend.

  • This year, we will be celebrating groups of alumni at these special events:

GIVING AND VOLUNTEERING

  • Absolutely! Reunion giving is a meaningful way to celebrate your connection to UCSF. Make a gift online or stop by the giving table during Alumni Weekend.

  • We welcome alumni volunteers for reunion outreach. Email us at reunion@ucsf.edu to get started.

REGISTRATION

  • Registration will open in early 2026. Early registration is recommended as space is limited for some events.

  • Some events are free while others may require a registration fee. Please refer to the programming for a breakdown of pricing.

  • We encourage advance registration, but on-site registration will be available for select events, pending capacity.

ACCESSIBILITY AND SPECIAL NEEDS

  • UCSF is committed to accessibility for all guests. Please indicate any accommodation needs when registering or contact us at reunion@ucsf.edu for assistance.

  • Yes, meals offered at official events will include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Please indicate dietary restrictions during registration.

    Parking validation (i.e., complimentary parking) will be available at the garages listed below. Links to register your car will also be emailed to the primary registrant two days prior to the event.

    Public Transportation 

    • MUNI

    The Muni Metro T-Sunnydale line picks up at the Caltrain station at 4th and King streets as well as the BART Powell Street station. Stop name: UCSF Mission Bay on 3rd Street opposite the campus. For Muni information, visit SFMTA.

    • UCSF SHUTTLE FROM BART (weekdays only)

    Disembark at the 16th Street Mission BART station. For Bay Area Rapid Transit information, visit BART.

    Pick up the Red Line UCSF shuttle on the northeast corner of the intersection. The shuttle runs only on weekdays every 15 minutes and brings you to 1651 4th St. in front of the Weill Neurosciences Building (second stop). For more information, visit UCSF Transportation.

  • The check-in desk for Alumni Weekend is at the entrance of the William J. Rutter Center on 1675 Owens Street.

  • Dress is casual, and layers are recommended as rooms may vary in temperature. Please check the weather prior to Alumni Weekend as April temperatures vary.

  • All Alumni Weekend events will be in person at UCSF Mission Bay campus as virtual attendance is not being offered this year. There is also no livestream option; however, the Opening Session and UCSF Talks will be recorded and posted in the Videos section on this website when available.

  • Yes, coat check will be near the check-in area.

  • The UCSF Campus Store will have a pop-up shop of select items near the check-in area, but you can visit its online shop to make purchases from the full collection today!
