
UCSF: Alumni Weekend 25 Email Signatures

Instructions
1. Select and copy a signature below
2. In Outlook (desktop), Open a new email. From the message tab select “Signature” then “Manage Signatures”
3. Select “+” at the bottom of the “Edit Signatures” box to create a new signature
4. Give your new signature a name
5. Paste the signature into the signature window
6. Select and type over the default information one line at a time, making sure to retain the type specifications
7. Click Save, then close the “Signatures” window
8. Insert your new signature into the email you are composing using the “Signatures” option, and consider setting as "Default"

Select and copy a signature below
Login to Outlook Webmail
Click on the Gear Icon in the top right hand corner to open settings
Go to Account > Signatures and click the + “New Signature”
Give the signature a new name
Paste your signature from below
Click save
Locate the dropdown below the email signature box to select a signature for new messages, and select the name of your new Alumni weekend signature
Click save
Click the x in the upper right corner to exit the signatures panel.

Please do not customize the colors (black), typeface (Arial), type size or logo graphics.
For Outlook Webmail users, copy one of the below options and paste within the email signature window.
Test to make sure your Alumni Weekend logo isn't being sent as an attachment (look for the paperclip icon).
Consider not using this signature (with logo) for replies. This is a setting you can control in outlook.
Many desktop email clients will not show the logo by default.
Avoid copying and pasting a colleagues signature as a starting point.
